Updates from Brixham RFC

John Farr

We have received the sad news of the passing of John Farr, who played and captained Brixham in the 1960’s.
This has come from his son Richard Farr
“Dear all, I just wanted to inform the club that my father, John Farr, died last week at the age of 88. He died peacefully after a short illness here in New Zealand. Dad played for Brixham for many years, captaining the first team. My dad was very fond of the club and was very proud to have represented his beloved Brixham. I’m not sure how many people would remember my dad, as he would have last played in the 1960s.”
We pass our sincere condolences to Richard and all his family and acknowledge another ‘Fisherman’ who has crossed over the bar’

  1. I remember john (Farr) having played for Brixham during the period 1963-69. A fine man, like many others at the Brixham RFC. Regards Tony Nicholas
