As a club, it is sad that we share a player’s passing from the 70s and 80s.
Kevin Moran – RIP.
This sad news has come from France that Kevin has succumbed to illness in his home across the Channel.
Kevin played on the wing for the senior side for some seasons while living and working in Paignton. His career centred on designing and installing mechanical services for substantial projects throughout the country while partnering with James Irvine.
Kevin part sponsored the club many years ago and was responsible for the ex-gratia design of the mechanical services installation in the new clubhouse constructed in 1979/80.
Kevin retired to Windmill House and lived in a happy retirement in France for some time.
The club extends our sympathies to his family and friends.
Ray Gardner – Past President BRFC

A very good Obituary Ray… Brian Pitman asked about what it meant to pull on a Brixham shirt at the time you probably don’t appreciate what it means but it is many years later that you really understand what it means when you are remembered as one of a big family… RIP Kevin the big family will meet again one day
