Are you a talented rugby player seeking a club that blends competitive excellence with a supportive, progressive environment? Then look no further than Brixham RFC, one of the South West’s most successful and forward-thinking rugby clubs. Our 1st XV proudly competes in the South West Premier League (Level 5) with clear ambitions for promotion to Level 4, having finished an impressive second last season and narrowly missing a place in the Papa John's Cup final at Twickenham as semi-finalists.
Situated on Devon’s picturesque South Coast, Brixham RFC boasts some of the finest facilities in the region. Recent refurbishments have delivered training and playing grounds, coupled with superb changing and treatment rooms, all contributing to a vibrant social atmosphere crucial for team camaraderie. Overseeing our playing strategy as Director of Rugby is former coach Dan Parkes, who has assembled an experienced and dedicated coaching and backroom staff. Club stalwart and legend Adam Thomas leads as Head Coach, supported by backs coach Richard Bolt and Jon Ellery, who brings a vital focus on conditioning and fostering a winning culture. The essential backroom team of Manager Barry Thomas, Assistant Manager Pete Boyce, and Physio Kerry Mitchell remains in place, ensuring seamless operations and player welfare.
With the core playing squad largely intact from last season, Brixham eagerly welcomes returning players, promising youngsters rising through the ranks, and brand-new faces ready to contribute to our journey. Training sessions are held at our Astley Park home every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm sharp. Brixham is more than just a club; it's an amateur setup driven by truly professional values.
If you’re ready to join a winning team with genuine ambitions and a fantastic community spirit, we invite you to discover Brixham RFC. For further information, please contact Dan Parkes on 07989542311 danparkes@kitworld.co.uk
